At the Silverbird cinemas in Accra mall, a lot of patrons came in to watch the comedy which stars Yvonne Okoro, Nkem Owoh, Kofi Adjorlolo, Helen Paul, IK Ogbonna and a host of others. The entire Cinema was packed with enthusiastic patrons who could not wait to catch a glimpse of the movie.
The cinema hall was already full whiles the red carpet ceremony was on-going so the Silverbird officials had to stop selling the tickets for a while. Some of the people who were there to see the movie even started fighting with the cinema attendants to score a first look of the film.
The cast and crew of the film were there with some of the industry friends such as Nkem Owoh (Osofia), Kofi Adjorlolo, Yvonne Okoro, Elizabeth Okoro, Sandra Ankobiah, Lydia Forson, Luckie Lawson, Roseline Okoro, Nana Akua Addo and the BBNZ artiste/producer EL.
On the day of the premiere, Tales of Nazir – The movie, an animation film starring John Dumelo, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and other renowned musicians was being premiered at the West Hills Mall branch of Silverbird Cinemas. But according to reports ‘Ghana Must Go’ had a more successful showing.
The movie which tells a story of two families who hate each other and is forced to set their differences and animosity aside to unite their families by marriage is directed by Frank Rajah Arase and produced by Desamour Company Limited.
After the premiere Yvonne Okoro jumped on twitter on Sunday to thank everyone who was there to see the film. “Thanks to everyone that turned up for Ghana Must Go …it was so insane sold out premiere…”
