El Hadji Diouf with former Liverpool teammates Steven Gerrard |
Diouf, who scored six goals in 79 games for the Reds after joining for £10 million in 2002, told the French magazine Gerrard was an "egotist" who didn’t care about Liverpool winning.
The former Senegal forward has previously accused Gerrard of racism and dismissed Carragher as "nothing" in his autobiography.
In the interview, the 34-year-old said: "Steven Gerrard is a great club player but an egotist. He didn’t care about Liverpool winning all that mattered for him was getting on the scoresheet.
Asked who he would least like to spend Christmas with, Diouf answered: "Jamie Carragher. I hate him." He also named Carragher when asked who the biggest turkey on the pitch was, adding: "I found him useless."
Diouf, who also played for Bolton, also said he "hated" current Wanderers manager Neil Lennon, with whom he clashed during an Old Firm game while playing for Rangers in 2011.
