Management of PUC has entered into partnership with Saginaw Valley State University-USA, Bucks University-UK and Oral Roberts University-USA.
This revelation was made by the Rector of the PUC Rev Dr. Peter Ohene-Kyei at the 7th congregation of the institution. According to the Rector, the partnership will help expose students and faculty members to best practices outside the shores of Ghana.
“PUC also recognizes that to lay a foundation for a world class University, international cooperation is imperative. Hence PUC’s sister relationship with some international universities. These relationships are not only for exchange programmes but also for joint research projects,” Dr. Ohene-Kyei explained.
According to him, PUC has started reaping the benefits of these collaborations already.
“I am happy to announce to you that some PUC and SVSU staff have successfully completed a joint project on family businesses in USA and Ghana, culminating in the publishing of a book launched on the project. Also, Professor Fenobia Dallas a renowned senior lecturer of the faculty of Rhetoric and Professional Writing SVSU paid a visit to PUC in May 2015. During her visit, she engaged staff and students and media persons in seminars on international Technical Writing and Grant writing.”
The Pentecost University College is affiliated to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and University of Ghana and celebrated its 10th anniversary this year.
