Have you ever read an article about making money online and blogging was not mentioned? I don’t think so. Blogging in Africa is a legitimate way to earn money online. In my opinion its possibly the easiest and straight forward method on the list. Blogs such as LindaIkeji, Ameyadebrah, Naij, BellaNaija, TechMoran and Tuko are some of the blogs here in Africa that makes money.
For your blog to be successful you will require persistence, patience and discipline. Sometimes it may mean writing a new blog post everyday for a year before you can start earning money from it. There are exceptions to the rule, but it is pretty common to spend one or two years building your brand before you may start making any serious money from it. Freelance writing is the most popular method of earning online in Africaa.You can either choose to be an academic writer (which pays very well by the way) or you may choose article writing. You can make a good sum of money through freelance writing but it’s a process. Once you start sharpening your writing skills and you have build an impressive portfolio you can actually make some real money. If you are a newbie in writing, expect to put in some time to learn the ropes before you can actually begin to see some money. Some of the best article and academic writing sites that I have tried myself include iwriter and edusson.
There are plenty of academic writing sites and article sites out there and some pays really well. Do your research before signing up on any site and make sure that the site is legit because some are known to be scams. Most freelance writing sites will require you to take a test before they can approve you as their writer and some are very easy to pass and most that pays well got very tough tests.
If you are good with words, it might possible to make a decent living writing content for other people online. Please keep in mind that content writing is not like writing a book or newspapers. As a content writer, you’ll be required to write short articles based on a particular group of Keywords. Clients will require you to do ample research before crafting an article. Online Forex trading is fun and can solely sustain your livelihood if you have the skills and discipline of trading. Discipline however is a combination of many factors ranging from personal attributes to character.
To join this industry, you need to first go through training. Skills of forex trading can be acquired through training from a professional forex trader.
It’s always advisable to start off with a dummy account. In a dummy account you can play around with the Forex market without the fear of losing your hard-earned cash. Once you are comfortable (and trading profitably) with a dummy account, you can proceed to create a live account and invest real money in it.

If you are a website designer or graphic designer you can actually make some good money by helping people design their websites here in Africa. You will need to sell your web design skills, and you need to figure out a business idea to do so.
Approach potential clients directly and pitch to them why they should hire you to design their website. Most clients will ask you for a portfolio of previous work that you have completed successfully, but don’t worry because experience will lead to more experience. The trick here is to bid on web design jobs on sites. Get more projects. Design some more.
Sharpen your talent. Web design can actually make you a lot of money here in Africa once you start getting clients however like any other business it takes patience and a lot of search engine optimization.
