Your husband is a thief -Veep to Lordina

The bubble of the Vice President, Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur, finally burst in Sunyani, on Saturday, at the launch of the NDC's manifesto when he launched a verbal tirade against President John Dramani Mahama for the years of abuse, stigmatization and non-recognition he has been suffering under his hands.

After his verbal slip at the Manifesto launch when the Vice President inadvertently uttered the words "change is coming", as opposed to "change is happening", sources at the Presidential dais tell the Accra Post that President Mahama was infuriated by the gaffe of his No.2.

"This man is very useless. This common phrase, he can't even get it right", President Mahama was heard to have murmured – a murmur which was loud enough to be heard by those around the president.

Immediately Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur resumed his seat for the President to make his remarks, the Vice President's Aide-de-Camp informed him about the denigrating language used against him by President Mahama.

"What?!" the Vice President exclaimed.
"I've had enough of this nonsense. It has been going on for far too long", an angry Amissah Arthur fumed.

With President Mahama responding to cheers from the gathering, the Vice President is said to have attempted to confront President Mahama and demand from him why the open show of disrespect towards him, in the presence of subordinate members of government.

However, Vice President Amissah Arthur was prevailed upon, again, not to openly accost President Mahama, just as he was prevailed upon not to respond to Dr. Bawumia's "lies", but to wait for the "appropriate time" to respond to the President.

The "appropriate time" came, and this time it was when Lordina Mahama came up to Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur to "chit chat".

Lordina Mahama is said to have received the shock of her life when Amissah Arthur exploded.
"Your husband is a thief. In fact, he is a very big thief. All of Ghana's problems are because of him. Every contract is inflated and it goes into his pockets or Ibrahim's pockets. What is a decent woman like you married to such an incompetent crook? I'm out of this campaign for good. I'll serve my term, and them I'm gone," Amissah Arthur burst out.

Amissah Arthur then walked out on the First Lady, with Lordina Mahama stunned and left slumped in her chair, as she wondered what could have triggered "mild-mannered" Amissah Arthur's response.
