Paul Pogba looks close to sealing a move back to Manchester United and Spanish newspaper El Confidencialclearly aren’t too pleased about it.
The Juventus midfielder has long been linked to Real Madrid and El Confidencial claim Pogba recently shared an interesting phone call with Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane.
The pair apparently shared a “last desperate telephone call…with each man seemingly wanting the player to end up at Madrid, and urging the other to do what they can to help that happen“.
Zidane and Perez disagree
Zinedine Zidane reportedly failed to convince Florentino Perez about Paul Pogba’s character and El Confidencial believe the 23-year-old Frenchman is destined to move to Manchester United.
The Spanish newspaper have desperately tried to conjure an image of Manchester United being the last alternative but he could always stay put in Turin if Old Trafford is truly that unappealing.
