PUSAG rides home a Mahindra pick up from Ministry of Education

The current administration of PUSAG has vehemently channelled all efforts and investments to boost the administrative framework of the Association that marks its tenth anniversary this year. The leadership realised the necessity to explore all available avenues to secure a vehicle to complement the yet to be unveiled office space in September.
The determined aim of leaving a legacy of a standard PUSAG Secretariat warranted the motivation to persistently convince the Ministry of Education to support the Association with vehicle.
Following a number of appeals, negotiations and follow ups, the Ministry of Education spearheaded by the Deputy Minister of Education in charge Tertiary, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has finally yielded to the call of the Private Universities Students' Association of Ghana (PUSAG). Thankfully, one Mahindra pick up truck has been given to the Association to facilitate the smooth running of the current and successive administrations.

On the 15th of July this year, PUSAG held an unprecedented Bootcamp comprising a Senate meeting and Leadership workshop training at Ashesi University College. The boot camp was climaxed with smiles and joy, in the hearts of every Private University student present at the moment after it was announced that the National Executives should collect the vehicle at the Ministry of Education on 19th July, 2016. This wonderful news followed shortly after the National PUSAG President, Mr. Richard Odame humbly presented an open request in the midst of student leaders from over 20 private universities on behalf of the Association.

PUSAG is indeed grateful to the Government especially the Honourable Minister for Education in charge of Tertiary Mr. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa for honouring his promise today. This vehicle will go a long way to enhance the daily administration of the Association.
The 10th Administration of the Private Universities Students' Association of Ghana has, aside lobbying for the vehicle, secured an office space for the Association. The past administrations yearned for these two and finally, they have been realized in this selfless and humbled administration. We believed the subsequent administrations would fight for more and achieve greater than this to migrate PUSAG to a different realm.

Long live PUSAG
Long live Ghana
