Vice President Amissah Arthur confirmed as running mate to President Mahama in 2016 elections

President John Mahama today Presented to the National Executive Committee and Council of Elders of the NDC, his running mate for the 2016 election.

President Mahama, said he had no difficulty settling on Vice President Kwesi Amissah Arthur because he is hardworking and deserves a second term.

Meanwhile, the ten regional organisers of the NDC have backed the retention of the Vice President as running mate to President John Mahama.

The group under the umbrella "Chief Field operators of the region" says maintaining the Vice President will sustain the peace,unity and cohesion within the party.

Spokesperson for the organiser, Henry Ametefe believes the Vice President is the best man for the job.
