Kim Kardashian Decided to Break the Internet Again for Old Times' Sake

It's not yet clear how Kim Kardashian's emoji app, Kimoji, will revolutionize text-based communication. Perhaps in the future, instead of saying I love you mom, our grandchildren can just send a cartoon picture of Kardashian's butt. 

Sometimes new technologies evolve in the hands of its users—let's not forget that it was the users, not Twitter, who developed the hashtag. 

So who knows what utility we'll find for Kardashian's white Solo cup, the waffle (?), the peach covered in frosting (??), and the butt emojis. Even its launch disrupted Silicon Valley on Monday, when Kimoji crashed the app store. As she tweeted on Monday:
