Photos: Two giant alligators engage in a terrifying fight

Two alligators engaged in an terrifying mano-a-mano showdown at Myakka Pines Golf Club in Florida (obviously) on Monday. To make matters even more eventful, one of the alligators — the winning alligator, it turns out — has been named Goliath by locals. It didn’t take Goliath long to dispose of the smaller alligator before walking triumphantly back into the water. See more picture below
The smaller gator, left, limps away from "Goliath" after the fight.
"Goliath" has no trouble climbing from the water onto the green.
