This university bears the hallmark of focusing on student’s spiritual, intellectual and social well being.

As part of the University’s annual programme, it has become an essential prerequisite to pass through a general orientation exercise which is designed to educate fresh students on the mode of operation and other related activities on campus. In addition, it is a platform to provide firsthand information, directions and general rules about the University to newly- admitted students.

This year’s orientation also took place at the James McKeon auditorium recording a high patronage of students who have just been admitted to pursue degree programmes in different academic disciplines. The orientation was scheduled to take place from October 03, 2016 to October 9, 2016.
The Rector, Apostle Dr. Daniel Okyere Walker, in his welcome address, enumerated the vision and mission of the school which has been the core for running the University as a Christian institution which focuses on the spiritual as well as academic and social well being of students.

In the course of the orientation, Prof. Omane Antwi was greeted with applause as he was invited to speak on a team “Studying in a University Environment”. The Ag. Registrar, Michael Wisdom Gyimah also enlightened students on student code of conduct and PUC general regulations. This was followed by introduction of faculty and staff by the chaplain, Rev Nelson Adu. Mrs. Victoria Aryee, the Ag Academic Registrar schooled the fresh students on academic regulations which borders on Examination, courses, credit hours and registration.

As part of the University’s moral values, Mr. Amos Kevin Annan, College counselor, gave a talk which was dubbed “Watch your Moral life on campus”.
Meanwhile, the fresh students were privileged to ask questions or make constructive inputs especially with the SRC executive at the end of each session. The whole auditorium was in an ecstatic mood as they were being ushered into the commencement of the academic year.
