The Fair was targeted at level 300 and 400 students and aimed at preparing them for the job market. This includes CV preparation, attending a mock interview for a job position, short seminars on new job prospects available in the job market and how to weave one’s self into being the best candidate for these new prospects.
The event pulled together eight companies namely: Databank, Best Point Savings and Loans Company Limited, Max International, T’Best Ghana Limited, Crystal Continental Consult, Access Bank, Millennium Insurance Company Limited and Star Asset Insurance.
Representatives of these companies interacted with students, reviewed and collected their CVs and educated them on what industries expect from graduates. This gave students the opportunity to establish relationships with these companies. They also made presentations at seminar sessions on Employee Work Attitude and Interpersonal Skills, Composure and Expectations during Interview Sessions and Enhancing your Curriculum Vitae.
Staff present at the Opening Ceremony were Rev. Dr. Peter Ohene-Kyei, Rector, Apostle Daniel Walker, Dean of Students, Mrs. Josephine Djan, Head, Student Support Services, Rev. Paul Danso, Chaplain and Mr. Eric Nana Adobah Thompson, Evening and Weekend School Coordinator.
