Iman took to Twitter on Friday morning to pay tribute to her late mother, Marian Abdulmajid.
Just months after the death of her husband David Bowie, ET confirmed that the 60-year-old model's mom died on Thursday. "Saddened by the death of my mom Maryan Baadi," Iman tweeted. "May Allah grant her the highest jannah #ripmaryanbadi."
Jannah is considered an eternal paradise in the Muslim faith.
ET has reached out to Iman's reps for comment.
After losing her husband in January, Iman also shared several touching quotes with her social media followers. Exactly one month after the singer's death, Iman quoted the writer Rune Lazuli, Instagramming: "Each tear is a poet, a healer, a teacher."
