10 For Miss Pink Ghana Pageant

A bevy of 10 beautiful, intelligent ladies have been selected for Miss Pink Ghana Beauty pageant scheduled to take place in June at the National Theatre.

The pageant seeks to select a young and articulate lady between the ages of 18 and 30 to promote breast cancer awareness in Ghana.

And vying for the ultimate crown are Perpetual Kunadu Webana, 21, a Level 300 student of Jayee University College, Angela Boachie, 21, Level 300 student of Pentecost University College, Rashidatu Ali, 20, Level 300 student of the Islamic University College and Jessy Baboshia Jonah, 20, Level 300 student of the Methodist University College.

The rest are Getrude Goh Mawuena 18, of IPMC, Sophia Afua Ababio, 24, a nurse, Sherita Maame Esi Mensah, 27, a professional caterer, Christine Leba-Kamanya,23, a graduate of KNUST, Josephine Siaw-Agyemang, 20, a graduate of Ola Senior High School and Anastasia Tamakloe, 21, a Level 200 student of the Ghana Technology University.

Miss Pink Ghana Beauty pageant, being organised by RAM Media Concepts in collaboration with the Ghana Youth Exchange Experiment and supported by the Ministry of Health, is expected to create awareness of breast cancer in women in Ghana.
