MLS side delighted with Kwarasey’s return to Ghana

Major League soccer side Portland Timbers are delighted their first choice goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey has decided to bury the hatched and return to international football with Ghana.

The Norway-born Ghana international is making a return to international football after a two year absence.

Having been disappointed with his world cup campaign in 2014, the 28-year-old decided to prematurely end his international ties.

He has since rescinded his decision and is in line to make the first team that will play against Mozambique later this month.

Kwarasey will join Ghana for two contests against Mozambique in his first call-up since joining the Timbers in 2015.
After playing host to Mozambique on Thursday, March 24, in Accra, Ghana, the

Black Stars will travel to Maputo to face Os Mambas on Sunday, March 27. Overall, the goalkeeper has earned 22 caps for Ghana.

In three games for the Timbers this season, Kwarasey has registered seven saves in 270 minutes played.
