Ghanaian goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey |
The Norway-born Ghana international is making a return to international football after a two year absence.
Having been disappointed with his world cup campaign in 2014, the 28-year-old decided to prematurely end his international ties.
He has since rescinded his decision and is in line to make the first team that will play against Mozambique later this month.
Kwarasey will join Ghana for two contests against Mozambique in his first call-up since joining the Timbers in 2015.
After playing host to Mozambique on Thursday, March 24, in Accra, Ghana, the
Black Stars will travel to Maputo to face Os Mambas on Sunday, March 27. Overall, the goalkeeper has earned 22 caps for Ghana.
In three games for the Timbers this season, Kwarasey has registered seven saves in 270 minutes played.
