Face of PUCG Okwahu Campus Donates To Nkwantanang Primary |
The donation was under the auspices of the Women’s Commission (WOCOM), a wing of the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) in collaboration with the Business Administration Students’ Association (BASA) and Mimshack Auxilium Humanitarian Foundation (MAHF). The project was dubbed “SAVE THE FUTURE LEADERS”.
Kate Fokouh, the Women’s Commissioner opined that the school was selected for the humanitarian gesture due to its deplorable condition and also it being one of the deprived schools in the District.
Miss Jennifer Omane Asomani, Face of Okwahu, presenting the items in a short ceremony charged parents to take keen interest in the education of their wards. She also called on the elders of the town to make it as part of their preoccupation the wellbeing and education of the children in the town.
She admonished the students to put to good use the items provided. The items included exercise books, chalk, Pens, Pencils, Erasers, School bags, School Uniform, White Board, White board markers, slate, sharpeners, soft drinks, food and a generator.
Mr. Seth Kofi Addo, the Headmaster, on behalf of the teachers and elders of the town expressed his utmost appreciation for the benevolence of Miss Jennifer Omane Asomani and her team.
He posited that the items presented were awe-inspiring especially coming from students, “this has never happened before”, he said. He also thanked the Presbyterian University College, Ghana for supporting the project.
