Over the years, the struggle of most students begins from admission due to the inadequate educational infrastructure to soothing studies. The same applies to private university student. Hitherto the establishment of the GETfund Act in 2002, only one private university was in existence vis-à-vis our traditional universities. Hence, the reason for the gross... neglect for private students.

During MOH’s tenure with PUSAG office, he worked feverishly with his team to deepen and expand the access of GETfund to private universities students.

MOH led the team in drafting a comprehensive policy document for all Ghana students to benefit from GETFund which is currently before the Office of the Presidency, Ministry of Education, Parliamentary Select Committee on Education and GETfund Secretariat. This document detailed an interim demand whiles the proposed Private Education Trust Fund( PETfund) awaits its passage.

Buses, IT Equipment and other educational infrastructure that have direct benefit on students are amongst the facilities expected to be received from the government by the mid 2016 and the enactment of the Private Education Trust Fund (PETfund).
