Albeit the setbacks, the season started on a very high and good note which saw remarkable attendance of both the student and staff. People outside Lancaster University Ghana also attended in their numbers.
The season started off with the first game which was between Phoenix FC and Mercurials FC and the game ended in a draw with both teams scoring one each. The second game saw the last season's league champions who have never lost a match before in the seasons antecedent to this lose 2-1 to Czaars FC who seem to be focused this season. Czaars came from a goal to win the game with an impressive performance as compared to the previous seasons. T
he last and final game saw the Atletico FC crush Lancaster's FC 7-1 in a highly anticipated debut since the former have always kept an impressive record in the previous season while the latter lost almost all their games to every team in the league.
