This is a day that we must congratulate ourselves as women in our various field of endeavors.
Looking at women from a different perspective, We can say women are people who can really go extra mile when given the opportunity to perform in areas that are mostly dominated by men, this simply shows that "what men can do women can do better".
For the past three '3'decades and over women have shown what they can do in front line politics, before and after the Beijing declaration by the various wifes of head of state, civil society and other other women activist, Women have come a long way politically, economically, socially and culturally to champion the course of their various countries. Seline Johnson of Liberia who is now the President has so far exhibited good and strong qualities of a true leader. Furthermore the are numerous women in higher positions across the globe performing so well in various capacities as CEOs, Managers, Pilots, Captains etc.
A successful woman is one who can build a firm foundation with the bricks others throw at her, therefore when you dream of success, work for it.
Above all, We will want to use this opportunity to call on all women to resist the temptation of being used as sex satisfactory beings or marginalized being and rather live up to the task of "holding the bull by the horn" in all the fields they may find themselves to impact positively in society and the world as a whole.
